Your pure bred Pit bull rescue dog and the AKC.
As Pit bull owner’s rescueapitbull thinks it is our job to get our Pit bull’s back into the real world not march to Washington and try to change the world or threaten to burn down city hall.
“We stand on our feet as honorable people with honorable dogs.”
The AKC has an option for you and your purebred Pit bull rescue dog. They call it the Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privilege the program provides purebred dogs that can’t be registered a chance to compete at their events. So if you and your rescue dog have some talent and want to compete here is a list of event you can become eligible for.

When you enroll in the program they will give you a PAL number instead of an AKC registration number.
So if you want to apply for a PAL number for your purebred pit bull rescue dog. You have to register it as an American Staffordshire terrier here's a link to the application https://www.akc.org/pdfs/ilpform.pdf.
The application tells you that there is a non-refundable fee. And that you have proof from a vet that the dog has been spayed /neutered. It sounds like there picky about the photo angles especially height.
Print off the application mail it off and see what you get.
If you get a number you’re in just check local listings for AKC sectioned events bring your PAL number (enter that number on the entry form) don’t forget your Pit bull rescue dog and most important don’t forget to kick some ass!
Good luck! |
